What we store:

• Session Identifier Cookie: A unique session ID that links your custom trips to your browser session. This cookie contains no personal information—it is simply a random identifier.
• Custom Trip Data: When you create a custom trip, we store the trip details (start location, end location, route data) in our database, associated with your session ID. This data is stored for 90 days and then automatically deleted.

Why we need cookies:

Without cookies, we cannot reliably associate your custom trips with your browser session. This means:

• You would not be able to see your custom trips when you return to the website
• We could not prevent other users from seeing your custom trips
• The Custom Trips feature would not function properly

What happens if you reject cookies:

• The Custom Trips feature will be disabled
• You can still use all other features of the website, including:
  • Viewing standard trips (predefined routes)
  • Comparing vehicles
  • Browsing vehicle specifications
  • Using all filtering and search features
• No cookies will be set, and no session data will be stored

• Purpose: To associate custom trips with your browser session
• Expiry: Session cookie (expires when you close your browser) or permanent cookie (expires after 1 hour of inactivity)

• Data Stored: Only a random session identifier, no personal information
